It seems like only yesterday that a friend of mine told me about Mafia wars and invited me to play with him on facebook. And not long after I knew I needed help and started looking for a mafia wars cheat guide[1]
At first, I was like what the hell is this?
Why would I want to play Mafia Wars?
Then, because it was free, I decided to start playing it and I was immediately addicted to it!
BUT!! Being brand-new to Mafia Wars, I was sick of getting my butt kicked by all the people with cool weapons, cars and money. So I decided to do some research on the Internet, and I found some forums, some comments and blog posts, and some conversations with friends on face book.
I searched high and low before I finally found a couple of really great cheat and strategy guides that allowed me to dominate.
These guides were not easy to find, you can’t just go to the bookstore and search for Mafia Wars stuff. Well, maybe you can, but I figure the information in a printed book would be outdated by the time the stuff hit the bookshelves anyway. So, I decided to go get one of the e-books that my friend, the one kicking butt on the game, recommended to me.
I quickly discovered just what TOP PLAYERS were doing to build the strongest mafias and then I started taking notes to improved upon my methods and even documented some amazingly Mafia notes myself.
When I started using the secrets I discovered, I had no idea just how incredibly mad it was going to make some of the other big mafias out there. I soon found out…
But hey, If you want the same advantage then you need to grab one of these cheat guides and my personal notes. Otherwise you will spend hours getting no where…
They’re really only two PDF-based Mafia Wars e-books that are worth buying anyway. I purchased about five of them before deciding that these two were the best and really covered it all. And the best one (Dominate Mafia Wars) [1] really stood out as my favorite pick and its the one worth spending money on. Mafia Wars Cheat
More energy and Energy Packs
There are three ways to get more energy. It will regenerate at the rate of 1 every 5 minutes (3 minutes if you are a Maniac). It will completely refill whenever you gain a new level. This is one of the principal facts that makes speed leveling work, outlined in more detail in the Doin’ the Job section. You can also get a full refill from the Godfather. Finally there are Energy Paks and there can be a lot of confusion over how these work when you first start playing.
Energy Paks will completely refill your energy to your current maximum and give you an extra 25%. Your energy won’t refill again until your amount of current energy drops below your maximum. If you level before you use the extra 25% energy, you will lose the extra and be reset to your maximum amount. You want to save your Energy Pak until you have used all of your energy and you have the ability to consume most of the energy before leveling. On a similar note, you want to use the highest XP payout job if it is about to cause you to level as any excess XP beyond what is necessary to level will spill over in to starting the XP needed for the next level.
You can only use 1 Energy Pak every 24 hours. Before the Top Mafia was changed from 8 members to 6 members, sending out Energy Paks would only send them to people in your mafia who were also in your Top Mafia. Now they seem to go out to everyone in your Mafia. You won’t see them as being able to be used until the invisible timer of 24 hours since you used your last one completed.
Leveler
This is the most popular strategy by far and it will allow you to level up faster. Simply put all skill points into energy and then do lots of jobs. Doing jobs with a high experience to energy ratio will speed up the process and allow you to level faster. The best jobs for high experience to energy ratios are as follows:
All of these ratios were computed by taking the experience gained from the job and dividing it by the energy required for the job. Also these ratios were calculated with an 11% more experience bonus and a 10% less energy bonus from top mafia. I would suggest getting those bonuses as high as possible by promoting strong players into the Mastermind and Wheelman Top Mafia positions. So your ratios may be a bit different from mine, but these jobs should still be the best ratios regardless of your bonuses. I would also work on getting The Consigliere Tier level three mastered because you will get a 30 second reduction on the energy regeneration timer and the Boss Tier level three mastered because you will get double energy regeneration. Be warned though, the Boss Tier level three mastery will take quite awhile because of the extremely low job mastery percentages per job (1-2% per job).
Mafia Wars Moscow
Mafia Wars: Moscow, the second expansion to the mob-themed Facebook game Mafia Wars, lets players expand their criminal empire into brand new territory. Mafia Wars publisher Zynga gave us an exclusive sneak peek at the new expansion, set to hit a browser near you September 24.
The expansion’s basic game mechanics will remain unchanged. Score cash and experience points by taking on missions and fighting rival mafias; use the cash to buy weapons, power-ups and properties; and use the experience points to level up your mobster’s energy levels or fighting skills as you see fit.
The biggest difference in this expansion? Mafia Wars Senior Product Manager David Kahn says it will have, “a new look and feel,” and, “will be much harder than other expansions we released before, more geared to higher level players, level 70-plus.”
